This got me thinking about Blogrush and the thousands of people who have had there account placed INACTIVE. I can understand if you do have an issue with one of the quality guidelines, but to place for instance someone like Johncow INACTIVE is hard to imagine as they're in the top 50 make money online sites (according to 45n5) and as they've said 'sent them over a 1000 direct referrals'.

So has this website been checked by a human or a robot? IMO it's the later other wise why would they be placed in INACTIVE. They have a high traffic count which can only be seen to promote and drive traffic for Blogrush.

You've heard it before: an unhappy customer tells a 100 people a happy customer tells 7. Well they have over 600 readers you do the math.

IMO If they resubmit they'll be fine as IMO all resubmits will be manually human checked, but make sure 'your' happy before you resubmit obviously. I was just using Johncow as an example.

Amazon Widgets are a series of small, visually dynamic and easily configurable widgets that feature products from Amazon on blogs, websites and social networking pages.
In as little as one minute, users can populate a widget with their favorite Amazon products and their comments about those products, and select from a set of color and layout themes to match both their mood and website. The simple-to-use web interface for building and implementing a widget can be found at: http://widgets.amazon.co.uk

As of today 6 new Widgets are available for you to use, with further Widgets launching in the near future. Here is an overview of the widgets: http://widgets.amazon.co.uk

* Slideshow: Pick favorite images from the Amazon catalog and present them as a stylish slideshow. Showcase favorite CD cover art, present recently read books, or even reveal favorite breakfast cereals. Slideshow also lets users caption the selected images. See an example of Slideshow at http://obscuresound.com/.

* My Favorites: Express yourself by recommending and commenting on favorite products from Amazon. This widget lets everyone know how you feel and what you like by showing product images, information and your own comments. Lori is showcasing her favorites at http://www.austenquotes.com with her "Books by Jane," "Books about Jane," and "Austen Movies" widgets.

* Wish List: Display an Amazon Wish List on a blog or profile page, and let friends, family, and others know what you want. See the Wish List widget at http://paporartist.typepad.com.

* Product Cloud: Take tag clouds or word clusters one step further by showing Product Clouds. Product Clouds engage site visitors by displaying product titles that are relevant to the content of the page in a cloud or cluster with the most popular product bolded. Site visitors can click on the title to directly visit the product page on Amazon. See an example of Product Cloud on the Geeking with Greg blog at http://glinden.blogspot.com.

* Search Widget: Let your readers find and explore interesting products from Amazon.co.uk without them leaving your site. More info here: http://widgets.amazon.co.uk/Amazon-Search-Widget/

* Quick Linker: Quickly and easily link to relevant Amazon.co.uk products as you write your blog posts or page content by including custom HTML tags as you type. More info here: http://widgets.amazon.co.uk/Amazon-QuickLinker-Widget/

Amazon Widgets are free to use. Users have the option to make money with their Amazon Widgets by joining the Amazon Associates program and when a visitor to their site clicks through their Amazon Widget to the applicable Amazon website and makes a purchase, they may earn up to 10 percent in referral fees from Amazon.

One helpful tip here is before you start adding your blog to a hundred directories’s set up an email account i.e. (hotmail) where you can hold all the reply emails. This will keep it separate from your personal email and have easy access to all your directory listings.

The two main directories are DMOZ an open directory project (which is human edited) and Yahoo they are both free to submit. Here some others, but you can find many just by typing ‘blog directory’ in to Google.

The Wonga blog is still in its early stages at the time of writing this and submissions are an ongoing process.

Our first data points are in with our AGLOCO/Ask search system. Average net revenue for AGLOCO per click is already over US$0.20 – the average Member click through rate on ads on the Ask search page - 20% to 25% of the time the ad is clicked on (one ad click for every 4 to 5 searches).

If every AGLOCO Member did 4 to 5 Ask searches a day and they clicked on average just one ad, the revenue generated for the AGLOCO community would be US$6.00 per month per Member. This would be a great start to building revenue for Member distributions.

AGLOCO’s challenge is to get every Member to have the Viewbar open all the time and to use the Ask search box to make their searches.

If you haven’t used the Viewbar to do an Ask search. We implore you to do it now. Member feedback on the Ask search results has been extremely favorable (most Members reporting they rate Ask results as good as Google’s or better.).

If you have had problems with getting a download of the new Viewbar, we added CNET’s Download.com Click here to go to their site to have fast download. http://www.download.com/Viewbar/3000-2381-10753362.html?part=dl-Viewbar& subj=uo&tag=button

The Company Blog www.blog.agloco.com has updates on many issues like Member Distributions and company finances.

Also, there is a discussion of the idea of making your AGLOCO hours salable now. Visit the blog and you can comment on this.

I was recently looking for new plugins for firefox and came across this one that allows you to have your Google Adsense information displayed in your browser.

As you can see from this image there are number of settings you can play with until you get your required view. Very easy to use, up and running in 5mins.

No need to keep logging in to your Google Adsense account. Watch your wonga update right infront of you.

How to get a free blog

Posted In: . By MMC ADMIN

There are many companies out there that provide a service where you can create and host a blog for the cost of nada, that's right absoultly nothing. A good first step is to type 'free blog' into Google.

The Main Players

Blogger
Really simple to use, and the templates are easy to tweak as so many people have written blogs about how to tweak them you won't be hard pushed to find help.
Wordpress
Another great service, I believe the templates are better designed than Blogger.com but I think they are harder to tweak for your average user with little web experience.
